It may seem attractive to tackle In-line Development using your own people, but:

  1. Teaching, coaching and mentoring are specialisations in themselves; we’re specialists
  2. The in-house developer is unlikely be given the time to spend with the client to teach them properly, due to competing pressures.
  3. The in-house developer may possess bad habits and pass these on to the employee. We’ve experience of delivering projects in over 30 blue-chip organisations and we’ve seen many instances of “We do it this way here”, where “this way” just doesn’t deliver.
  4. Our fresh and impartial view helps to resolve issues and broker solutions that are challenging or even impossible to achieve when all the parties are in-house.  
  5. As a third party we are independent – we are outside your management structure and are not threatening to your staff, which encourages openness and honesty.  Our external development approach is non-judgemental of the person, only the techniques being used.
